Horseback Riding in East Yellowstone
Horseback riding, trail rides, pack trips, cookouts, and campfires are all a part of the deep rich western tradition that your family will enjoy when staying at one of the Yellowstone Guest Ranches. Horseback riding is popular throughout the United States. But in Wyoming, and particularly in the Shoshone National Forest and Yellowstone National Park, it’s absolutely breath-taking. You'll enjoy wildlife sightings, mountain flowers, and beautiful mountain ranges. Horseback riding trips vary from one hour to all day and can be customized for individual desires. Dozens of different trails are available to ride. The more adventuresome rider can take an overnight pack trip and fish in an untamed mountain stream for native cutthroat trout. Pack in with one of our experienced licensed guides and enjoy hunting elk, antelope, mule deer, or black bear.
For those who want to experience the Western cookout and campfires of old, many of our lodges offer these opportunities. Enjoy the music of the West while making friends with folks from all over the world.
Check out the different guest lodges and see the various programs that each offers. Many visitors say the highlight of their vacation was one of our horseback rides.
